Hosted by Ole MIss and Tombigbee Electric Power Association Fiber: Students will learn basic splicing skills with technicians from Tombigbee Electric Power Association Fiber Team. Once the student has had basic instruction on fiber splicing techniques each will be given the opportunity to use their new skills.
The 3 best splicers will be awarded Scholarships of $1,199, $800, or $500 to Northeast MS Community College Fiber Technician Certification Program.
Who Can Participate: High School Students living in the Mississippi TVA Region
